I’ve known Mandy since I was about 10 years old. I met her in Sunday school. She was the new girl in our church and I asked if she wanted to sit next to me. That was 17 years ago… and for the next 6 years, that was where she sat… next to me in Sunday school. We were instant friends and spent so many Saturday play dates at each others houses. When we got older we started noticing boys. Both being shy, we’d dream about the day we’d meet our prince charming, and the day he’d sweep us off our feet.
A few years later Mandy moved to Dubai… I missed her very much, but thanks to facebook we always kept in touch. One day she mailed me and told me about this guy she’d met. Her very own prince charming. A Polish one at that. He’s name was Radek. I was so happy for her, so you can imagine my excitement when she mailed me to say she was visiting SA and wanted me to do a love shoot for her and Radek.
Ray and I had so much fun shooting for the two of them. I hadn’t laughed and giggled so much on a shoot before and I’m pretty sure the people at Mount Nelson thought we must’ve been intoxicated:)
Mandy and Radek, you both are a breathe of fresh air and shooting for you was my absolute pleasure. I’ll be a little sad when you have to go back to Dubai on Monday… but this time you’ll have a little something from me to take with you.
